Microsorum thailandicum (commonly known as Blue Oil Fern) is a rare and visually stunning fern known for its metallic, iridescent blue foliage that glows with hues of cobalt, teal, and indigo—especially under bright, indirect light. Native to Southeast Asia, this fern features narrow, elongated fronds with a glossy, almost oily texture that gives it its name. It's best suited for high-humidity environments like terrariums or greenhouses and prefers consistently moist, well-draining soil with filtered light.
