Begonia Rex Purple

Begonia Rex (also known as Rex Begonia or Painted-Leaf Begonia) is a stunning foliage plant known for its bold, colorful leaves that come in a wide variety of patterns and textures. The broad, asymmetrical leaves may feature dramatic combinations of silver, purple, pink, burgundy, green, and even black, often with spirals or metallic sheens. Grown primarily for its ornamental foliage, this begonia adds an artistic, eye-catching flair to any indoor space.

It thrives in bright, indirect light, high humidity, and well-draining soil kept consistently moist but never soggy. It's more sensitive to overwatering than underwatering, so allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings.
