Aeschynanthus longicaulis ‘Black Pagoda’ (commonly known as Lipstick Plant ‘Black Pagoda’) is a striking trailing plant admired for its olive-green leaves with dramatic dark purple to black marbling on the undersides. The mottled foliage gives it a reptile-skin-like appearance, making it a standout in hanging baskets or on shelves. When mature, it may produce tubular orange-red flowers that emerge from dark calyxes, resembling lipstick tubes. It thrives in bright, indirect light and prefers well-draining soil that dries slightly between waterings.
