Signs Your Plant Is Waking Up for Spring (Don’t Rush It)

As daylight slowly increases, plants start sending quiet signals that they’re waking up. Tiny leaf buds, brighter color, slightly faster drying soil — these are early signs, not green lights to overhaul everything.

This is the most common mistake we see: one new leaf and suddenly it’s repotting, fertilizing, and moving season.

Instead, look for consistency:

• Multiple new growth points
• Faster water uptake over a few weeks
• Firm stems and healthy color

Early growth doesn’t mean active growth yet. Let your plant prove it’s awake before changing routines. Spring is a transition, not a switch.
